Wednesday, March 5, 2008 - After the tragedy that struck Delco firefighters on Wednesday morning members of the fire service where looking for somewhere to go, to discuss the days events and just step away for a little while. Green Ridge Chief Bob Herre contacted Dexters on the 5 General Manager Carrie Gualtieri and explained the situation. Carrie who had heard about the days events on the news earlier in the day offered to set up the dining room for everyone to come and relax. Once members started to arrive Carrie informed everyone that all refreshments and food was on the house. Throughout the night Carrie and the staff at Dexters were more then accommodating and certainly went above and beyond anything that could have been expected. All the fire service members that showed up were greatly appreciative and it made the days events just a little bit easier. |

Wednesday, February 27, 2008 - Last night at Flashovers Tavern, Triple D Dawson was flagged after he started talking about how much fun it is to be a Yo-Har. He was ejected by security and once outside he caused his girlfriend to cry by running into oncoming traffic naked, patrons said. Two people stopped to try to help 28-year-old Ken Triple D Dawson , who was running naked along Jennifer Lane on Wednesday night, but he allegedly cursed at them and punched their pet cat, Tavern Security said. Triple D then ran into the street, causing a motorist to swerve into a parked car as the driver tried to avoid him, Security said. No one was seriously injured however Kim was seriously embraced.
Flashovers will not press charges but Dawson, of Essington, Pa., was released in to the custody of his girlfriend who beat him unmercifully.
